Anxiety Therapy

Anxiety symptoms

If you experience one or more of the following symptoms more days than not, you may be experiencing anxiety:

  • Nervousness

  • Inability to control worrying

  • Worry about many things

  • Restlessness, feeling keyed up or on edge

  • Tiring easily

  • Difficulty concentrating

  • Feeling easily annoyed or irritated

  • Muscle tension or tightness

  • Difficulty sleeping

  • Physical ailments (headaches, digestive issues, etc.)

My approach

If these things affect your ability to function at home, at work, in social environments, or cause significant distress, it may be beneficial to seek counseling. In therapy, you can work through the source of your anxiety and begin to uncover and face the underlying fears. We will work together to implement basic mindfulness skills and discover additional ways to cope with symptoms of anxiety that will work for you.

In certain situations, medication management is helpful and needed. In these cases, I will work in conjunction with your psychiatrist or medical doctor and/or recommend one to assure the most comprehensive and consistent care is offered.
