Out-of-network services

Although insurance companies cannot be billed directly, all or part of your services may qualify for reimbursement through your individual insurance plan. I can provide you with a "Superbill" to submit for possible reimbursement for out-of-network services.  I do not submit superbills on behalf of my clients; this will be your responsibility.


Questions for your insurance

The following questions may be useful when speaking with your insurance plan representative:

  • Do I have outpatient mental health insurance benefits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • May I only work with a provider approved by my plan or can I find my own and submit receipts for reimbursement?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?


Cash, check and all major credit cards are accepted for payment. Payment is due each session and can be paid in advance each month.

Cancellation policy

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment and have not given 24-hour notice, you will be expected to pay the full cost of the session. Notifications within the 24-hour window are accepted via email and phone.
