FAQs

You’ve got questions? We’ve got some answers.

  • So glad you asked! Spiritual coaching is a holistic practice that focuses on guiding individuals to connect with their inner wisdom, align with their values and purpose, and cultivate a deeper sense of spirituality in their lives. It involves providing support, guidance, and tools to help clients explore their spiritual beliefs, overcome obstacles, heal old wounds, and experience personal growth and transformation.

  • You can expect a safe and supportive environment to explore your spirituality, set intentions, and work toward your goals. Meg will listen deeply, ask thought-provoking questions, and offer insights and guidance tailored to your unique journey.

Sessions may include meditation, visualization, reflection exercises, and action planning to help you deepen your spiritual practice and navigate life’s challenges with grace and resilience.

  • No, spiritual coaching is inclusive and nondenominational, welcoming individuals from all religious backgrounds, spiritual traditions, and belief systems. Whether you identify with a particular faith or consider yourself spiritual but not religious, spiritual coaching is designed to support you on your unique path of spiritual growth and exploration.

  • Spiritual coaching can address a wide range of topics, including finding purpose and meaning in life; navigating transitions and life changes; healing from past wounds and trauma; deepening spiritual practices (such as meditation, prayer, or ritual); cultivating mindfulness and presence; enhancing intuition and inner wisdom; and fostering greater connection with oneself, others, and the divine.

  • Yep, there’s a difference!

Meg is both a licensed therapist and a spiritual coach. Though there is overlap in some areas, spiritual coaching differs from therapy or counseling in its focus and approach. Spiritual direction focuses on exploring and deepening one’s relationship with the divine, exploring spiritual practices, and discerning one’s spiritual path. Therapy is aimed at addressing psychological issues, emotional challenges, and mental health concerns through diagnosis and treatment. Spiritual coaching is often a great complement to therapeutic work.

Therapy is limited by state-to-state licensure regulations (Meg is licensed in Georgia), but coaching can happen (and does!) if you live on the other side of the world from each other. Cool, huh?

  • Sure does! Meg is a licensed professsonal counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia and has select availability to take on new therapy clients through her practice, The Wonderhaven.

  • Coaching sessions are typically conducted online via video conferencing for convenience and accessibility. However, in-person sessions are also available in Atlanta, Georgia. And Meg is also available to travel to you.

  • Individual coaching sessions typically last 60 minutes. Group coaching sessions may vary in length, depending on the format and needs of the group.

  • Souly is a membership community dedicated to supporting individuals on their spiritual journey. It offers a space for individuals to connect, grow, and explore their spirituality together.
